Remember, Character and Beauty are Everywhere!
My name is Rene’e Hebert. I want to tell you a little about myself. My grandmother, Olivia Blanchard had an eye for “Character & Beauty” which she shared with her children. My Dad, John Ronald Blanchard, shared his eye for “Character & Beauty” in many ways. One way was to carve and paint ducks. My avenue of sharing “Character & Beauty” is through paintings.
I grew up in a suburb of New Orleans, LA. Where I married and raised three children, Leslie, Preston Corey and Lindsey. We later moved to a small town, Tickfaw North of Hammond, LA. Now I am the wife of a sugarcane farmer, Gary Hebert, near the village of Patoutville in Acadiana, with our four dogs. Together we have five Grandchildren: Tyler Louviere, Preston Canale, Mia Louviere, Austin Canale, & Elijah Hataway.
As a child I loved to sketch. Later, I became a draftsman for Civil Engineers and Surveyors, but I still loved to sketch. So sketched pets and sold the sketches. I have evolved through the years from sketches to oil paints. I would love to share with you my view of “Character & Beauty” through my paintings.
Enjoy!
